Department of Law, Stamford University Bangladesh has excellent physical facilities with adequate classroom, library, trail room, and faculty rooms.
Library
Stamford University Bangladesh has a good stocked central library along with a seminar library for law students containing nearly 5881 books. Among them, text books, journals, law DLR’s are mentionable for the law students and faculty. Both students and faculties can borrow books from the seminar and library using their library cards. In addition, the ambience of the library is absolutely perfect for research and studies. Anyone can have undivided concentration due to quiet and calm environment. Students who want to read newspaper can enrich their knowledge from here because a number of daily newspaper both Bangla and English is subscribed for the benefits of the students of the University.
Classroom
The Law Department has adequate classrooms including a separate trial room and thesis defense room. Every classroom is facilitated with air conditions and multimedia projectors. Rooms are big enough to sit comfortably. A chair and a table for each student are allocated so that they can have enough space to hold book as well as necessary items without having any disturbance.
Moot Court Lab
One of the most important facilities for the students is Moot Court Lab. Mooting is been considered as an effective methodology in teaching to improve students’ standard on trial advocacy and for drafting a case. However, Department of Law of Stamford University has a Moot Court Lab along with an efficient Moot Committee for preparing the students to practice in the national, regional, and international Moot Court competition.
Website and Internet Facility
Stamford University Bangladesh provides a 24 hours high speed and uninterrupted internet facility to its students. All the important places such as library, labs, and departments have Wi-Fi connection. Moreover, the university has an up-to-date website that contain all important information regarding the admission, faculty members, research, examinations, and important notices. Each student and faculty is given an account along with a password through which they can easily access all the information they need.
Other Facilities
Besides those facilities, the university has concerns about the health of the students. The students of Stamford University can take free medical consultancy from the well-equipped medical center of the university. Additionally, the university has its own canteen that provides hygienic foods at a reasonable price for the students, teachers, and staffs. Apart from this, the Stamford University Bangladesh has its own playground where students can play football, cricket, basketball, badminton, and others.
